abandoned fishing traps on the beach

Until December 31, 2022, the Municipalité de Clare, in collaboration with the Fishing Gear Coalition of Atlantic Canada, will be accepting end-of-life PVC-coated wire lobster mesh and wire lobster traps, fishing rope and netting at the Clare Transfer Station free of charge. The FGCAC will then subsidize the cost of having these materials collected and recycled by our partners and diverted from Nova Scotia’s landfills.

This is part of a program funded by the DFO Ghost Gear...

Communauté francophone accueillante de Clare, in collaboration with the Government of Canada, la Société acadienne de Clare, Loisirs de Clare, Inclusion Clare, the CDÉNÉ, the CBDC and la Chambre de commerce de Clare, is proud to present the second edition of les Journées multiculturelles de Clare, from June 24 to 27, 2022.
